Chartreuse Shift Dress

There’s nothing that I love more in a piece than versatility. Something that can be worn for all occasions that life throws at you, work, nights out, shopping, brunch and everything in between. My obsession with versatile pieces continues with this adorable Darling Clothes chartreuse shift dress. It’s structured with small detailing, making it great for work, but it’s also easy to play on the details and create the perfect night out look. I love everything about this dress from the bright, refreshing color, to the little pearl detailing on the flowers and the length of the dress. I wore this dress to brunch with small heels that I swooned over for days because they’re Sam Edelman’s version of rockstuds for an extremely lower price. I’m not really a heels girl but these are extremely comfortable! I walked all around SoHo’s cobble stone and uneven pavement in them.

Like I said yesterday, my looks have involved dainty jewelry more often rather than statement pieces and this dress was calling for dainty gold jewelry. Gold tassel earrings and a gold cuff bracelet tied together the shoes with the rest of the outfit. This dress and these shoes will be on major repeat this summer, especially with the amount of brunching that’s done in NYC!

Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading!
