Don’t you just love shopping in your closet? I’ve been spending the last month going through all of my clothes and finally getting rid of things that I’ve been trying to hold on to. I stumbled across this embellished J. Crew top while cleaning out my things. I had purchased it before I even went to college, so basically it’s still brand new to me!

What I love about this top is that it has your statement necklace included! It’s like J. Crew did all of the work for you-cheating, I know. But it would be great for the days when you’re in a rush and need to look like you went the extra mile. I was ecstatic when my top matched my Anthropologie pencil skirt, perfectly. The rouching in the middle allows the skirt to be flattering on almost any body type, and the drop waist adds a fun, flirty feel! 

Now, let’s talk shoes. This outfit was one of those “aha!” moments. Everything seemed to keep matching perfectly. My cobalt BCBG wedges were the perfect addition. I found these gems at Nordstrom Rack and have already gotten my moneys worth! They had flats like these in white the other day, I may have to buy them for spring. Because my top had embellishments I chose simple white pearl studs. I opted for my go-to hot pink lip, but I would wear a red lip if I was headed to the marina for a bit of a nautical vibe. 

I’m loving all of this blue! It reminds me of that song “I’m blue aba-di-da-boo-die.” Anyone? No? Okay. Have a great week! Spring Break countdown starts now. Four more days, hang in there everyone!
