Cropped Lace and Pastel Blue

Nothing says summer like a good maxi skirt and crop top combo, and this summer I’ve been gravitating towards elegant lace and crochet detailed crop tops that are a bit longer. This top from Necessary Clothing is a perfect summer staple item. The neutral color and bold pattern allows it to easily be dressed up or down. Incase you didn’t know, Necessary Clothing is one of my favorite NYC boutiques. It’s affordable, on trend and basically on every single corner in the city! I have one by me that’s about a ten minute walk-talk about dangerous for my wallet! I chose to add some elegance to the top with a delicate pastel maxi skirt. Pastel blue is always a great summer color. A bright pink lip added a pop of color, and my new cork Tory Burch purse was a must. Cork has been one of my favorite trends this season, and this bag hasn’t left my side! I could dress this top up different with a pair of high waisted pants and wedges, or a tight pencil skirt and strappy heeled sandals and a bright clutch. 
My mom gets in today! I can’t wait for a much needed weekend of adventuring, shopping and showing her all of my new favorite places in the city! I have to admit that it will be nice to do some touristy things after I’ve slowly been getting into a routine in the city! Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading!
