Let me start by saying Happy Friday!! I am so happy that the weekend is finally here, because next weekend my two best friends will be in New York to celebrate the Fourth of July and hang out with me. It’s been way too long since I’ve seen some familiar faces other than my family!
When the weekend comes around I instantly search my closet for a piece with multiple key parts to it: an eye-catching color or pattern, a unique twist and adaptability to the weather.
This romper from Obsession Boutique is just that. It’s a bright poppy red, has a playful criss-cross back and is lightweight making it perfect for muggy summer nights.
I felt like I was channeling my inner Serena van der Woodsen while taking these pictures. Can I just reiterate how much I love New York City.
Don’t you agree that this romper stops traffic? Literally. I hailed multiple cabs with a lot more ease than usual in this romper.
I love the simplicity of the romper. You can throw on a few bracelets and statement earrings like I did and hit the town, or you could add a statement piece to add an extra oomph. Regardless of how you accessorize it, the romper is the perfect addition to any summer wardrobe.
I love how the romper gives off the effect that it’s a dress from far away, you probably never would even guess that it’s a romper! I paired the romper with my new favorite sandals to keep it casual, but I would love to pair it with chunky heels to go out in.
