Aztec Topshop Dress

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting in Brooklyn with New York photographer Dennis Cahlo, and I can’t say enough about how obsessed I am with the pictures and our shoot! I can’t get over the meticulous attention to details in the shots and how perfectly he captured a day in NYC! These pictures capture my version of New York street style perfectly. Nothing makes me happier than dressing up and this Topshop dress is my new obsession. The dress is so great for running errands, brunching or going out with friends. The unique cut of the bodice combined with the flare of the skirt creates the perfect feminine and flirty feel-my favorite! The great thing about the fit of the dress is that no matter how strong the wind it, the dress won’t blow up! I call that a win, especially when I go back to Oklahoma.
I dressed up this adorable aztec printed dress with chunky heels that matched the shade of red perfectly, but I would love to dress it down with gladiators. 
There’s nothing better than finding items in your closet that match a new addition perfectly. This J. Crew Factory necklace adds the perfect amount of sparkle to the look without being too much. I added a simple gold bangle and tried to keep jewelry minimal to let the print be the main attraction!
