Bright Striped Anthropologie Dress

Can I get a TGIF?! Happy Friday y’all! I’m spending my day at a campaign photo shoot, oh the New York life! What better way to start your weekend than with bright colors?
I love playing with bright colors, everyone knows that. So when I saw this dress in Anthropologie (in the sale section might I add) I knew that I had to make it mine.

This dress screams summer. It immediately reminded me of date nights by the boardwalk, vacations to tropical places and trips to the beach with friends. New York offers all of those views, but it’s definitely different from home. This dress was perfect for a nice dinner downtown.

This dress has so many colors that it’s hard to decide which one to accent! The hot pink, emerald, red and turquoise create the perfect summer combination, whimsical and fresh.

I chose to accent turquoise, the most apparent color, by accessorizing with my Gigi New York clutch and a turquoise statement necklace. But it would be so easy to add a pair of hot pink Kendra Scott Danielle earrings or  a red statement necklace and studs.

I think my favorite thing about this dress is the cut. The v-neckline isn’t plunging, making this maxi even more versatile. Not to mention this is one of the very few maxi dresses that is long enough on me, which is always a plus! The vertical stripes elongate the body, creating an extremely flattering piece for all body types. I’m always a sucker for vertical stripes!

To me, there’s nothing better than being able to throw on a bright summer maxi, a bold lip and head out. This dress will definitely be on major repeat until the very last second before fall!

Anthropologie has so many amazing maxi dresses right now, and a bunch of them are on sale! Every time I walk in there it’s such a struggle to pick and choose which one(s) to get! I’ve gone ahead and linked a few of my favorites below because this dress is only in stores, unfortunately. So run to the nearest Anthropologie near you before this dress is gone!
