Printed Skirt and Neon Top

I think that the thing that I love most about interning in the fashion industry is the dress code. It’s so versatile, and is really dependable on your mood that day. Our dress code is more of a business casual environment, which is perfect for days when your in a rush and need to just slip on a shift dress or pants and a top.
I try to tone it down a bit for work, but every now and then I love to sneak in a pop of color. This top from Darling Clothes helped me do just that! The neon top correlates with the pattern in the skirt and adds the right amount of color pop to the business casual look. The top is so lightweight and comfortable, so when I throw on a cream blazer for work it isn’t overbearing. The laser cut detailing in the top adds a hint of print mixing, giving a fashion-forward vibe (which is always needed when working in the fashion industry). I love that more retailers are coming out with business attire in fun colors, like this Joe Fresh pencil skirt. Did you know that you can now shop Joe Fresh online?! Cue the angels singing. Darling Clothes has so many different adorable options that would be suitable for the work place! Be sure to head over to their website! I’m currently craving this floral top,  this tunic and this coat for fall!
Have a great Tuesday everyone and thanks for reading!
