Scalloped Mint and White Crochet

Let me tell y’all, this weekend wore me out. I had my two very best friends in New York and spent the weekend enjoying their company and showing them my stomping grounds. Due to a busy, busy weekend I decided to take Monday off from the blog, but I’m back and ready
I’ve always been a fan of mint, always. It’s the perfect spring/summer color. Light, refreshing and versatile to be paired with so many other colors. I’m currently obsessed with mint and watermelon together, but pairing mint with white lace or crochet is always my go-to.
This top from Curls and Pearls Boutique is a light, almost sheer fabric making it easy to throw on on those hot summer days.
What I love most about it is it’s ability to easily be dressed up. I’m always in need of more sophisticated pieces that can transition easily from work to any occasion, and this top fits the bill.
Pair it with a maxi skirt and wedges for a dressier look, or wide legged linen pants and sandals for errands. I chose a crochet maxi skirt from Shop Hope’s and my Tory Burch sandals for a casual summer weekend, but don’t be surprised when you see this top paired with a pair of watermelon pants or shorts.
A mint top will always be a winner in my book, but throw some scalloped detailing on the edge and boom, sweet summer perfection.
And how about that necklace, swooning. I’ve been loving pieces that are more stones rather than sparkle recently, and this necklace/earring combo has been on major repeat.
I’m determined to get a druzy statement necklace. Every time I see them in stores I nearly die.
Stone statement pieces and silver jewelry added the perfect touch to the look. My silver Alex and Ani arm stack has hardly left my arm since I received it in the mail. I love the wire bangles with the beading around them. They make the perfect fill in’s for the ultimate arm stack.
It’s a rare occasion for me to find a statement necklace and earring duo that compliment each other, but I think these two were made to go together!
I love the simple detailing in the earrings, and the way the wire wraps around the stone.
A bright pink lip keeps the look fresh, and I’ve already talked about my obsession with the two colors. Don’t you agree that they were meant to be?!
What are your summer staples? Are you loving stone jewelry pieces like I am or sticking to the glitzy statement pieces? Do you have suggestions on where I can find my next favorite piece, if so I’d love for you to leave a comment below! Have a great Tuesday, and thanks for reading!
