Black Embroidery

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We’ve been experiencing gorgeous weather the last few weekends, and I’ve been trying to spend the majority of the days outside. The evenings are still a bit chilly, but you can finally go out with a lightweight jacket instead of having to wear a heavy coat, hallelujah! This Free People dress is my newest obsession on a little black dress with a twist. The flared skirt is velvet, a new trend that’s been popping up lately, and definitely helps keep you warm without tights. The real kicker is the embroidery detailing on the bodice. It’s so intricate and unique, I think of it as art instead of clothes! This would be a perfect date night look, or even a Valentine’s Day look-for those single gals like me ;). I paired the dress with gunmetal Kendra Scott earrings and a fun clutch from the Kate Spade outlet. Do you guys love this embroidery detailing or what part is your favorite?
