Acid Wash and Sequins

Happy Wednesday y’all! I am so excited that we are finally having some much needed spring-like weather! Perfect timing for spring break, even though I’m going somewhere even colder. In honor of warm weather, I wanted to share a casual spring look that’s great for running around and shopping or lunch with friends! I’m a huge supporter of the chambray top, and this acid wash chambray that I’ve had in my closet has always been my favorite. The only downside? I shrunk it whenever I washed it, oops. Due to being 5’10 with and extremely long torso, I typically have to wear it with something high waisted so that I can tie the bottom. These gold shorts aren’t necessarily high waisted, but they’re easy to pull up higher due to the elastic waistband. I love the combination of textures in the acid wash print and the sequins. I always love mixing prints and textures, so this was fun for me! The gold sequins add a pop of chic to the look, but the top could easily be paired with white distressed denim or a black maxi skirt. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
