Happy Thursday y’all! We are just trecking through this week and I love it. I now have about two weeks and two days left in the city and I’m so indifferent about it. I love New York and don’t want to leave, but I’m so ready to move into my new house in Norman, see my friends and start my senior year! I know I’ll be coming back to the city after college so I think that’s what is comforting me and making me ready to go back to Norman. Not to mention these two little words… football season. It’s going to be so weird having to drive instead of worrying about a metro card every month and being in a small town as opposed to a giant city.

One thing I’m not ready for, humidity in the south. The weather here has been easing it’s way into the 90s-100s and it has been miserable. You can’t go anywhere without having a heat stroke-ok maybe I’m being dramatic but you try and stand in the subway platform when the temperatures are creeping into the unbearable high 90s! I’ve been gravitating towards anything that’s extremely lightweight and breezy, things exactly like this sundress. It’s a lightweight fabric with an open back and deep-v neckline so it’s very breathable. When a breeze does roll through on a rare occasion, you’re sure to catch it. I paired this dress with a floppy hat for a day of picnicking in Central Park, something I highly recommend, and it was such a relaxing day. It was the perfect outfit for the occasion! One of the best parts? This dress is under $40! I bought a medium, and the top was a bit small on me but the great thing is it’s adjustable just by tying it! It would make such a cute beach cover up or you could dress it up with wedges and a kimono. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
