Happy Thursday y’all! I can’t believe I just said that sentence. This week has literally flown by! By the time I check the clock when I’m at work it’s already time to get lunch and soon after it’s time to start wrapping up! Today my mom comes to the city to help me move out and we have a long hour or so of lugging things to UPS to ship directly to Norman. When I get back to Norman I live on the second story of a duplex house, so I’m hoping the UPS guy pities me and takes my giant boxes and suitcases upstairs for me!! I can’t wait to move into my new house I can’t even contain my excitement over creating a new space. I loved decorating my room last year, but this year I have a completely blank canvas with my walls being so big. I’m making so many changes over the next week and I’m so excited to share them with you as they happen so stay tuned!

Today I’m getting around to sharing my most recent obsession, this ruffled romper! I found this romper at Necessary Clothing while I was doing some retail therapy a few weekends ago, and unfortunately it’s not available on their website however I’ve found it on other websites and it’s available in so many colors and patterns! I have pink next on my list. I love the way it fits, it’s so comfortable! It’s perfect for a day of wandering the city or a night out. I dressed it down for a casual daytime look with sandals and a crossbody, but I wore it with heels and a clutch for dinner at Tao last week. The draping of the fabric gives a hint of elegance and it reminds me of some sort of Shakespeare/romantic kind of romper (so random-I know). I think what I love most about this romper is that it’s so different from anything I own. The cut, draping and pleating is all so different for me and I love mixing things up. What do y’all think?
