Happy Wednesday y’all and happy first day of fall! While I won’t be experiencing fall temps for a few more weeks, I’m starting to slowly break out my booties and sweaters, but until I see a day where I’m not dripping in sweat from walking home in the 90’s you won’t see too terribly much of them just yet! While I’m excited for temperatures to cool, I still keep wishing I was back in New York (before their winter starts, of course). I wore this dress when I went backstage with Aveda to see how the different hair styles were being put together on the models! They wanted a sleek but messy look, so they came up with a messy pony tail that had a textured, lifted front with a sleek and polished back. When they did my hair they added a little braid to keep it feminine with my dress!

I love a good drop waist dress. What I love most about this dress, however, is the collar! I typically gravitate towards lower cut necklines because I don’t like the way high necklines look on me, but the way that this collar folds over it helps break up the line of the dress. A drop waist adds such a feminine touch and this pale pink color fits perfectly with it. The fabric of this dress is a little thicker, so it will transition nicely with tights and cardigans into the cooler months. I added a tassel necklace to keep the colors simple and my Stuart Weitzman snake skin heels! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
