Happy Wednesday y’all! I swear these days are flying by. I had so many things on my to-do list yesterday that I didn’t get to cross off and I swear there’s no worse feeling. Yesterday in our capstone class we met with the VP of PR for Victoria’s Secret and I swear there’s nothing cooler than being in a room with such an empowering woman. She has worked in the industry for over 20 years, and it was just honestly such an eye opener to hear a little bit about her journey and how PR has changed at VS over the years. I can’t wait to get working on our project, is that weird to be excited about a major school project?!

Today I’m sharing the perfect cozy outfit for these chilly winter days. Luckily we’ve been experiencing warmer weather these week, making it so much easier to walk 30 minutes to class! This cape is just perfect for those long walks. It’s so cozy and oversized, yet soft and thick like a blanket. It’s almost like walking around with my blanket from my couch. I love how it still has a bit of structure to it so it can be worn differently for different sorts of events, but my ultimate favorite part is the neutral striped pattern. A great neutral piece is key for winter, and this grey and white striped cape is that perfect neutral staple. You can keep it neutral like I did, pairing it with grey jeans and black fringe booties or you could pair it with color by throwing this cape over a fun dress, or mix prints with a plaid blanket scarf. Honestly the simplicity of the cape is what makes it so great! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
