Happy Monday y’all! This week is my first official week not having classes on Mondays and it’s so nice to be able to spend the day finishing everything I didn’t get to do on Sunday! I spent my weekend being way too lazy, and catching up on Pretty Little Liars after I stopped watching a few years ago (PTL for my new Apple TV remote so I can watch Netflix on my TV!). I’m excited for this week because I’m expecting tons of great mail days and hope to get a lot accomplished. Also in other exciting news, I finally reached my goal at achieving 30,000 followers on Instagram! I really wanted to achieve this goal before the new year, but I would say a month in isn’t too far off! I’m beyond excited and think my mom was more excited than I was! I can’t thank everyone that follows along enough for the never ending love and support, and I can’t wait to sit down this week and develop the next goal that I hope to achieve! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite easy dresses. This little velvet number is not only budget friendly, but can go so many different ways. I chose to make it a tiny bit edgy with black booties and a layered necklace, and for the weather we’re experiencing now I would throw on a leather jacket to tie it all together. It’ll also be great in the spring with a pair of wedges and some dainty layered necklaces. I love the cut of it and how the skirt sort of flows when you walk, and I’m always a sucker for a v-neckline in any kind of dress/top. If that wasn’t enough, then there’s the color! The cross between a salmon/coral and pink color is what really caught my attention. I feel like I have a lipstick for everything I wear, and luckily I had one that was super close to the color of the dress! What do y’all think? Have a great Monday and thanks for reading!

Congrats on 30,000 followers on instagram! That is so impressive, I just hit 200 so I’m just like wow that is incredible, what a great accomplishment girl! Love the dress of course, I’ve been eyeing a velvet skirt. I feel like the texture of velvet is so unique and I haven’t really seen it around since I used to wear black velvet pants in elementary school HA! I’m looking the cute comeback it is having in delicate dresses and skirts.
