Happy Thursday y’all! I’m busy spending today prepping for my road trip to Houston tomorrow for the Final Four game. Usually I fly home (shout out to Mom coming in clutch with Southwest points), but since I have three friends coming along for the game we decided we could make a road trip out of it. One thing I wish I‘d taken advantage of more is road trips with your friends in college. In the summer my friends always made a point to spend the day in Coney Island, the Hamptons, Brooklyn or really anywhere around the city to make it feel like a mini road trip, so I can’t wait to start the same traditions in May.

Today I’m dipping into some neutral vibes with this black and white poncho top! I love fun prints like this poncho has for the summer and spring, it’s so festive but the colors keep it so neutral adding tons of room to play with it. It also comes in blue and red and is an affordable price point! I like to think this poncho is trendier, so I went for a street style inspired look with ripped denim and chunky mules. These mules are running out of sizes fast, so I’m glad I snagged mine from my local Nordstrom Rack when I first saw them! This poncho makes a great swimsuit cover up or casual shirt for a day with friends or running errands. I love the fringe detailing, but then again who doesn’t love fringe?! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
