Happy Monday y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend, I spent my weekend in Lubbock, Texas celebrating my best friends senior showcase for her apparel design program. She created a line of six looks from scratch and it was truly amazing seeing her life come to work! Not to mention it was fun to hang out with her family for the weekend since I don’t have much time to ever see them anymore. After Lubbock I flew to Houston on early Sunday morning to spend Mother’s Day with my mom since I’m done with classes. I have my graduation party with my friends on Thursday, commencement on Friday and graduation on Saturday! I’m still mind blown that I’m at this point in my life, and while I’m terrified to graduate and enter the adult world I can’t wait to see the transition of Kayleigh’s Kloset from college to working woman in NYC! I can’t thank everyone enough for their support and encouragement; this next week is going to be an emotional roller coaster.

With it being some of my last times I’ll ever search for crimson items, I figured it was appropriate to share this crimson tunic dress that would make such a cute fall game day dress at OU! I was never really a giant fan of crimson/burgundy until I started attending OU where you literally needed something crimson for every season. This dress is one of those perfect pieces to have in your closet to transition warmer colors all year round. I’m obsessed with the pleated drop-waist of the silhouette, and how fun that makes it to twirl around in. Not to mention the pattern is so easy to pair accessories with, whether you’re more of a brown wedge type of gal or black strappy heels. I paired it with my go-to chunky heels that you can always find me wearing, and a bold, stacked arm party. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
