Happy Thursday y’all! Can we believe we’re already this close to the weekend?! I’m so excited because a brunch reservation that I made at Poco nearly two months ago is finally one Sunday! I made the reservation as soon as I got to the city for the soonest available time, which just so happened to be nearly the end of July! Brunch is such a crazy thing here in New York, but I’m so excited to go back to Poco since I haven’t been since February. What’s everyone looking forward to this weekend?

Today I’m sharing a great summer addition to your wardrobe. Lately I realized I was wearing a ton of white and off-white dresses and tops, and yesterday I started thinking “where did all of my color go?!” This red lace inset dress is a great pop of red that is in my closet. It’s a stretchy jersey material, so it fits true to size whereas I usually have to size up for length in Topshop. I love the lace inset and the detailing of the trim on the yoke of the dress, but what I love most is how it’s so simple yet so unique. It’s one of my signature throw-on-and-go pieces, where it doesn’t require much fuss or fixins’ added to it. The lace inset is enough detail on it’s own, or you can add a pop of an accent color like I did with my favorite turquoise choker. I’ve already gotten my fair share out of this dress since I purchased it in June; from wearing it with my crochet converse for the Fourth, to gladiator sandals for brunch, the options are endless when it comes to dressing it up or down!
