Happy Monday y’all! WOW what a weekend it was here in the city. Fashion week kicked off last week and I thought I was going to be able to balance attending it while working it, but it is seriously so exhausting! I ended up working all of our events for our company, attending the GMA segment with Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid’s collection, and called it a successful week. We wrapped up our last event last night and I have a few things this week that I hope to catch before I head to Norman this weekend for some family time, OU football and seeing all of my friends! Time is just flying like crazy and the week will go by before I even get a chance to blink. How was everyone weekend?!

One thing I love about New York is that you can be literally whoever you want to be. If you’ve been following along for the past three years then you know I’m super bright, love pink and all things girly. So when I moved to New York I knew that I wanted to take advantage of testing out different trends and things. Insert the tee shirt and slip dress trend that has taken over the city that is New York. I struggle with little easy dresses, mainly because I’m so long and dangly that it’s hard to find one that actually hits me as dress-length. When I saw people wearing tee’s under their dresses I immediately thought of the Phil of the Future series and how obsessed I was with tee’s under things back in the day. To be completely honest I never thought I would test it out, but once I saw it all over the street style here I knew I had to try. I loved this little black slip dress and the criss cross straps, but the ruffle trim is what really got me. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
