Happy Wednesday y’all! How are we already halfway through the week?! Today is going to be a busy day as I try to knock out some laundry before heading to work (the #adulting struggle is so real), and after work I’m attending the H&M/Kenzo Collab show and I’m SO excited for it. Usually by the time I get off work I don’t want to do anything else other than head home and watch some TV/clean/laundry, but I’m determined to stay bright eyed and bushy tailed for this event. Today I’m sharing a look that plays with different fall trends that I’ve seen recently. Everywhere I look I see sweaters mixed with midi skirts, and I must say at first I wasn’t too sold on the look. I think to really pull it off the sweater needs to either have a unique element or be super slouchy/off the shoulder. Enter this lace up sweater; I knew when I received it that this would be exactly what I was doing. It takes an edgier-ish sweater and makes it a little more feminine with the pleated midi skirt. Originally I thought of re-wearing my blush midi skirt, but I figured red is so much more appropriate for the upcoming holiday season. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
