Happy Tuesday y’all! What a whirlwind this past weekend and Monday was. I have so much I want to talk about and fill you in on. For starters, I started a new job yesterday at a new agency doing beauty PR and I’m so excited about it. I was in fashion my whole life, and beauty is a completely different ballgame. I’m so excited to learn more and apply myself in a whole new way, not to mention the perks are great too! I’ll keep y’all posted on how it goes, and hope to share more about career related topics in the city. Let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to hear relating to working in the city and beauty in general!

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite, easy summer dresses that’s beyond comfortable. This floral mosaic swing dress comes in the cutest pattern with pops of reds and blues and purples. It’s probably the softest thing I own, and has the prettiest flow to it. In a weird way it makes me feel flirty because it’s so flowy when you walk in it. I love it so much that I got it in another army green pattern with pops of orange that I’ll be sharing soon too. This is one of those dresses that you can easily dress up or down for dinner with friends or a meeting at work. I dressed it up with a pair of heels and accented the red in the pattern with tassel earrings and my favorite red bag. These neutral heels are going to be so great for different work events and summer weddings. They take some breaking in, but once you’ve worn them a bit they’re so comfy!

In terms of fit, this dress does run a bit large. I used to order larges in Loft, like I previously mentioned last week, and this one is a big long and larger than normal on me. In the green pattern that I got last week I sized down to a medium and it was the perfect size. My shoes run true to size too, but you have to be careful with the tie on the front. If you tie them too tight they get a little uncomfortable, so it’s best to keep the tie loose. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
