Happy Thursday y’all! I can’t believe we’re already so close to the weekend! I feel like this is the Syllabus Week for me that I don’t get anymore since I just started work at a new company on Monday. It’s crazy to think that it’s almost been a week! I’m definitely ready for a long weekend and some much needed sleep after adjusting to different hours on my first week, but we have a ton of fun things planned this weekend with friends and I’m too pumped. Last week a few more of my friends moved here and it’s just that much better with them in the city. I’m hoping to be more active on social media this weekend than I normally am since I started to take the weekends to truly enjoy my friends and the city, so be sure to follow along!

Today I’m sharing one of my absolute favorite rompers that I swear I’ll repeat all summer long. This smoked romper screams summer. It’s a bright print that would look amazing with a tan, and it’s so lightweight and easy to wear that it could be dressed up for the perfect brunch/rooftop day, or dressed down as a swimsuit cover up or lake day. The gathering in the top gives you so much room, and the frilly sleeves are great if you’re self conscious about your arms like I am. It has pockets, which is always a win, and it pairs perfectly with my favorite tassel earrings that I have in so many different fun colors. I added these lace-up platform sandals for an extra pop of color. This look has me ready for the heat, and it’s perfect because the fabric breathes if you’re in humidity like I was in Houston when I shot these pictures.

In terms of fit, it fits true to size for a romper. I usually size up in rompers and opt for a large because I have a long torso and long legs. The large fits perfectly on me, and it’s extremely comfortable. My shoes fit true to size, and the lace-up takes a little bit to get used to. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
