Happy Tuesday y’all! I’m unreasonably but reasonably excited for this week because Friday I will be jet-setting to Spain and I can’t contain my excitement!! It’s a much needed vacation and this year Nikki and I will be taking an extended long weekend trip starting in Barcelona and ending in Ibiza. If you truly know me, you know that I’m a HUGE fan of DJs/EDM music. I typically see 1-2 DJs a month and travel around to see different concerts or go to festivals near the New York-area. When I was looking at flights one day, I realized I could skip my monthly Barry’s membership and book a round-trip flight to Barcelona (with a few days in Ibiza). The second I saw that there were closing parties in Ibiza with performances from David Guetta, Dmitri Vegas + Like Mike and Fisher I knew that we had to get there.

From what I know, Ibiza is essentially a giant party on a gorgeous island. Each year, DJs nation-wide flock to Ibiza for different performances and quite a few have residencies throughout the summer months. Towards September, they begin closing up shop for the winter and have major parties to celebrate summer ending. Last year we went to Spain in October and had a blast, but definitely felt like we missed a good portion of the summer fun. If you’re going to spend the money you want to get the full experience! So here we are, ready to go at a whole new level.

Random things I didn’t try on only for the concerts in Ibiza:

Now this is absolutely a vacation for us. We’re doing some things like a vineyard tour, eating our weight on Tapas Street, and eating at gorgeous waterfront restaurants, but this time we’ll be heading to day clubs to catch DJ sets in a festival style atmosphere, after partying at clubs with all night sets, and honestly just having some fun. It’ll be a mix of a spanish oasis combined with a bit of raving, so if you didn’t know a lot about me you’re about to learn by this trip real quick, ha.

What I’m Packing: When it comes to packing, I’m usually great at keeping it spot on and in my carry on. This time is a bit different because I have to have a mix of outfits to wear in normal public: cute dresses, sandals, two piece sets, the usual. I also have to have some festive attire for the day clubs because there’s no way I’d be caught dead looking like I don’t belong!! Nikki and I didn’t even realize people dressed up for day clubs the way that they do until last Thursday. We panic ordered most things off of Missguided and Amazon Prime and crossed our fingers for the best. We’ll see how this pans out!

Two piece sets: This is the first time I’ve really been able to tell how much weight I’ve lost recently and I’ve subconsciously bought a billion two piece sets haha. I always love sets for traveling/tropical vacations, so I have a good mix this trip.

Maxi dresses: Most of what I have for Barcelona is maxi dresses to be more thematic. I have one gorgeous off the shoulder one that I can’t wait to wear in the vineyards!

From What I Learned Last Trip: The weather can be so hit or miss, so this year I’m bringing a jacket for sure especially if it’s rain. Also for some reason I didn’t pack tennis shoes last year and had to buy them there. That will be the VERY FIRST thing I include this year. I also didn’t get Euros beforehand and was ripped off horribly once there, so heading to my bank is a must to exchange in the US.

Fun orange snake high waisted bikini. Top/Bottom – I also got a separate top in case I want more sun/better tan lines.

The most perfect maxi dress for Spain that I could find possible! Material is so comfortable too.

Perfect for a beach day in Ibiza, this two piece set is super lightweight and the top is adjustable. Top/Bottom.

What I would call an easy outfit for the first day/night, I love this crochet top and the color of this lilac maxi skirt.

A fun maxi dress option for one night out in Barcelona, not to mention it’s on major sale!

Now onto our preliminary itinerary that we’ve put together! I’m changing some of the times and things so that it’s more of a rough schedule. Never know who follows me from where! This should give a great idea of what to expect and I fully intend on sharing a ton on social media! I even set times to bring an outfit to take pictures in so that everything has a balance and I get the content I want!

Also after typing this out more edited compared to our ROS, I will say that I know for a fact the concerts and sun will take it out of us while we’re there. We have a lot of free time slotted for mornings or early afternoons so that we can chill where we won’t kill each other. We also have 2-3 beach clubs that open earlier in the day to keep in mind in case we feel ambitious. All in all, we really plan to do normal tourist things in Barcelona so that we can party and have fun in Ibiza, knowing it’s closing weekend.

Saturday:
– Early afternoon: arrive in Barcelona + head to hotel to check in (will share hotel after we check out Sunday)

– Head to Tapas Street to eat/drink!

– Visit Las Ramblas and some of the more touristy things/head to the beach.

– Evening: head out to Boca Grande (recommendation) and then out to Razzmatazz. If we don’t like it there we’ll head back to Opium like last year.

Sunday:
– Morning: Cogwheel wine tour with tapas!

– Afternoon: We have about 2-3 hours to kill, so we’ll likely walk around the major tourist sites and snag some photos and do some shopping.

– Evening: Flight to Ibiza, land and check into hotel (will share during trip on social)

– Late late evening: Head out to Pacha in Ibiza (recommendation)

Monday: **The real fun begins!

– Morning: Beach/pool at the hotel and just chill/lounge

– Early afternoon: Lunch at Amante – it looks so gorgeous!

– Walk around the area Amanate is in, potentially get a beach chair or something to hang out. We were going to do a beach club that opens early, but that may be too aggressive when we have a long evening.

Tuesday:
– Morning: head to our catamaran boat tour! It lasts all day and we see more islands over there. My travel guide, Nikki, found it.

– Afternoon: do some shopping in town once we get dropped off from the boat, head to the hotel for pool/beach/food.

– Evening: head back to Ushaia for Tomorrowland with Dmitri Vegas + Like Mike!!

– Late Evening: Change and head to Hi! for Fisher’s all night set #imlosinit
