I’m not sure why, but the combination of blue and yellow has always reminded me of boating. Maybe it’s because my Dad loves boating and those are the only two colors that he wears! I love a good blue and yellow combo, but today I added my own twist by pairing a pastel blue with a neon yellow.

Neon yellow is hot for Spring and I can’t get enough! I was browsing through Old Navy and stumbled upon this 3/4 length shirt with neon stripes and knew that it had to be mine. I was planning on pairing it with Kendra Scott neon yellow earrings, but changed my mind when I found my pastel blue jeans. Since I was going boating for the evening, I felt that the Abalone shell earrings were appropriate. They’re from the “Atlantic” collection after all! I love the way that the light reflects off of the earrings and correlates with the reflection of the mirror lens Ray Bans.

This outfit was perfect for a casual night out on the water. The sleeves and jeans kept me warm as the temperatures cooled throughout the evening, and the simplicity of the outfit kept me comfortable and cute at the same time!
