Emerald Green Maxi

Good luck trying to get me out of this dress because I refuse to take it off. Not only was I able to fit in a size smaller than usual (small victory for me, counting calories is paying off!) but it fits like a glove and is so comfortable. The bodice is tight, but the lightweight fabric of the skirt isn’t as heavy as you would expect when just examining the dress on the rack.

I’ve been dying for any occasion to wear this dress out, and a night on the water seemed to suit it perfectly! The dress itself is such a statement with it’s print of green sequins in a sort-of ombre pattern, so accessories needed to be kept as simple as possible. I decided the dress needed to do most of the talking this time! The only pairing color that came to mind was gold, and that means Alex and Ani bracelets, of course. My long necklace from Charlotte Russe not only fit the vibe that I was trying to give off, but will be great for layering later on in the summer.

I love the way that this dress flows in the wind. Swoon. I can see myself wearing it on the beach in the summer with a messy pony, or out shopping with a deep red lip and soft waves. Who knows maybe I’ll even get bold enough to add a pop of color! One thing is for sure, don’t walk but run to Anthropologie and get this dress before it’s gone! It’s definitely one item that you’ll regret not purchasing.
