Does it feel like the weeks are just flying by these days? I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! I’m slowly starting to realize that I don’t have that much time left in New York and I still have so much to do and see. If anyone has any kind of recommendation for something that I have to see please let me know! 

Cobalt blue has effortlessly morphed into one of my absolute favorite colors this season. It’s an eye-catching color, but can be played down easily. I love pieces that incorporate cobalt blue with prints and patterns and this top is no exception. I gravitated towards it in the sale section of Anthropologie (where it was an additional 20% off), and I’ve worn it at least three times since. It’s one of those great pieces that you can throw on when you’re in a hurry because it doesn’t need much accessorizing. 

I mean look at that print. The cobalt blue combined with the bits of neon yellow makes a surprisingly refreshing combination that I would have never thought of. Not to mention, the neon yellow correlates perfectly with my neon yellow Kendra Scott earrings-double bonus. Add a bit of lace in the mix and what more could you possibly need?! 

For a casual look I paired the top with a pair of cobalt blue pants from J, Crew (also 25% off sale). I love the contrast of the solid color pant with the printed top, and I love how it makes the cobalt in the print really pop. A simple Tory Burch sandal and pony tail for the unbearable hot weather completed this summer look.
