Happy Tuesday y’all! I’m back in Norman from an amazing (almost full) week in New York for fashion week!I don’t think there are any words to describe just how exhausted I am, especially because we’re getting into the first round of tests at school this week, but taking time to head back to New York was everything I needed and more. From parties, shows and previews to catching up with old friends over drinks and dinner, to hanging out at Cosmo it was such a great week. One thing I’m so thankful that blogging has taught me is the importance of embracing opportunity. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a student first-for the most part-but how long will I be able to attend fashion week? I jumped the gun to embrace the opportunity presented and I don’t regret it one bit. I encourage everyone to do things like this honestly, life is short y’all.

Now onto this sassy number! I can’t get over how obsessed I am with this dress. It’s classy and a completely different vibe from anything I own. The stripes are flattering and it’s a comfortable fabric, especially for the crazy New York hot-one-minute-pouring-rain-the-next weather! Since this dress is black and white it makes the perfect staple piece to have in your closet for date night, a formal affair or just whenever you want to feel sassy! I wore this dress in New York for the Lie Sang Bong after party show on Sunday night and it was perfect for the occasion. This fun fringe clutch keeps the party vibe going and adds the perfect hint of fun to this effortlessly-chic dress. A wristlet is so perfect for the city because it’s impossible to lose with the strap! I added a bold red lip to match my red soles-hello my pretties! I purchased these Louboutins my freshman year as a gift to myself. I scavenged for an affordable, classic pair and found these for under $700. While my tastes have changed since I’ve gotten older, I do wish they were a higher heel or maybe pointed toe, but I still love them nonetheless! I’ll be recapping more on fashion week later, but for now I need to get everything ready for my early and long day of classes! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
