Happy Tuesday y’all! I surprisingly made it through my Monday (somehow, some way) and am ready to get this week over with! It’s a busy next few weekends for me. This weekend I’ll venture to Lubbock for my best friends 21st birthday and next weekend we’re headed to Austin for weekend one of Austin City Limits music festival! The weekend after that is OU/TX weekend but that’s an event all in it’s own. I’m so excited to head to ACL this year! I’ve never experienced Austin as an adult other than going to peoples lake houses in the summer, and I can’t express how excited I am for the music line up (hello G-Eazy and Hozier, just love me). Since I worked on Friday’s this past summer I missed a lot of the headlining performances at Governors Ball in NYC, but I can’t wait to see them in Austin.

Today I’m sharing another look from New York! I wore this on the first day to the Whit SS16 presentation and John Brevard store opening! I wanted something simple and feminine that stuck true to my aesthetic. I’ve gotten so much wear out of this top, it’s honestly like four years old and I couldn’t live without it. I wanted an elegant look with this knee length skirt and this top added the right touch. I added silver pumps that were the perfect height for a tall gal like me, and weren’t too uncomfortable to run around in throughout the day. This skirt would be so cute dressed up for a night out with more of a tank crop top and pair of pumps, and it would be adorable dressed down with a graphic tee. I’m not ready to let go of my summer/warm weather vibes yet! I tried wearing a flannel yesterday to the library and I nearly died of a heat stroke, so don’t be expecting me to break out any furs just yet! What do y’all think?
