Happy Tuesday y’all! I’m so happy to spend today at my second home, Oasis Salon and Medi Spa! I have a full day of appointments from nails to massages to a new hair do! I love being able to get everything done in one place and all in one day, it’s like a spa day before vacation! I’m headed to Mexico early tomorrow morning and I just cannot wait to get away. My brother gets in this afternoon and we’re doing the whole Christmas thing this evening, and I can’t wait to give my family their presents! I love when I get excited about giving something to them, but this year I put real effort into picking out the perfect present as opposed to gift cards.

Today I’m sharing a NYE inspired look, and most likely what I’ll end up wearing in Miami! I ordered this dress for my semiformal date party back in November, and I just fell in love with it. The shoulder pads give it a clean, structured cut and make the lines cleaner and that’s something that I love especially since I’m self conscious about my arms. The plunge neckline makes it sassy and it’s the perfect length for someone that’s tall like me. The best part is this dress has pockets! I had it holding my phone and wallet the whole night and nothing fell out. When it comes to shopping for NYE I keep seeing so many body con style dresses, and while I’ve been frequenting the gym more often I am nowhere near body con dress ready. I love having a structured, sassy dress that I can feel confident in. I added blue fringe heels for a pop of color and a black fringe clutch to match the fringe of the heels. I can’t get over how much I love a combination of gold and cobalt blue, it always reminds me of when Serena wore blue pants and a gold sequin blazer. But of course I would make a Gossip Girl reference! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
