Happy Monday y’all! Can you believe its already time for another week?! I swear the weekends just seem to fly by. I was ready to have the same-old-same-old kind of weekend filled with going out, brunching and day adventures with friends, but it turns out that this cold I’ve been experiencing for the last month or so had other plans and decided to turn into strep on Saturday! I kid you not my body has never felt so drained, and I literally slept for 24 hours. It was so nice to do nothing, but at the same time I felt too weak to even get up and clean my apartment, plan some blog content for the week or even just binge watch my TV shows that I’m behind on. Luckily my Dad called me in some antibiotics and I’m hoping to be as good as new before the weekend since Lauren is coming to stay with me. I’m also super excited because there are a ton of after work events this week that I can’t wait to go to, so my immune system better shape up real quick!

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite looks to date for the season. If you follow me on anything then you know that I’m utterly obsessed with this pink suede moto jacket ever since I got it a few weeks ago. It’s so me, I don’t even know how else to describe it other than that. It’s lined so it’s really warm for these first chilly days, and I mean y’all can we even get over the fact that it’s pink?! It’s the perfect way to add a feminine pop to your fall wardrobe, and it’s so practical too. I paired it with one of the comfiest dresses I own, this snakeskin slip dress. It actually comes with the tee underneath, but you can take it off if you’re in a warmer area still. One thing I love is how simple it is to throw on for brunch or work, or really just anything you could think of. I wear it with booties for work, or over the knee boots for a night out with friends. I added my favorite fall lip in the color Sin and was all set. This lip has been my go-to for the last two years, and I can’t wait to wear more of it this season. What do y’all think?
