Happy Monday y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend. My weekend was more laid back than usual with tons of holiday decorating and Christmas movies! I can already tell that I’ll turn into a home body once it gets super cold here because the cold and I definitely don’t mix. I’m hoping that this week flies by because my parents are coming this weekend and I’m SO excited. My mom hasn’t been up since September and my dad hasn’t been up at all since I got here so I’m super excited to show them around my stomping grounds especially since the city is so magical right now and full of festivity.

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite looks to kick off the holiday season. This buffalo plaid jacket is super cozy and thick, perfect for the weather we’re experiencing here in the city. It’s great for Christmas time but will also be a good staple in the new year. Buffalo plaid always reminds me of Christmas time or cold weather, and I love the leather trim on this jacket. I kept it dressed up with this bow blouse and leather skirt. I literally wear this skirt every weekend, it’s one of my favorite cold weather staples. These drop earrings add the perfect pop and I love how they tie together my top. I added my go-to splurge boots that I swear by. I love the pointed toe and how high they hit on my leg.
