Happy Tuesday y’all! Today I’m so excited to be partnering with Dove and Simply Stylist to share my experience dancing the night away this past weekend. One of the things I absolutely adore about New York is that there’s always a spot to get your groove on. One of my favorite things to do on a Friday night is grab my girl friends, head to a spot like The Jane or Up & Down and just have fun and dance. For those who don’t know, I actually danced competitively for 15 years growing up, and it’s one of the things that I miss the most. The worst part about dancing the night away? Realizing that you don’t smell like that fresh-out-of-the-shower smell anymore once the night is over. Until recently, I struggled with always being embarrassed after a night out due to how much we would sweat dancing. Now that it’s colder outside and we wear coats and long sleeves, it’s almost inevitable that you’re going to start sweating the second you walk inside.

Insert my newest best friend: Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant. I’ve used the same deodorant for years and found that even it won’t last the full 12 hours, and other spray deodorants leave a musty scent. Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant leaves you smelling fresh, and it goes on instantly dry without leaving that gross white residue. It provides 48 hour odor and wetness protection, and even has moisturizing technology so your skin is soft and smooth and there’s no chafing or discomfort. I use Dove’s cucumber melon body wash, so my scent sticks to my earlier favorite. It’s soothing and fresh, not to mention it’s available at the Duane Reade right off the subway stop. Now there’s nothing holding me back from dancing the night away, and throwing my arms in the air- literally. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
