Happy Tuesday y’all! First off let’s talk the bachelor, WHAT was up with that one hour episode last night?! I had a few girls over because I brought back Papasito’s queso for all of my Texas gals, and we were all so confused. Also I’m so sad that the entertainment is gone now, I definitely wasn’t very into this season, anyone agree?

Today I’m sharing a super fun early spring look. The weather here has been so nice that you don’t necessarily need a puffer coat and 700 layers to head outside during the day. Now the night is a different story, but for heading to a day of brunching or weekend adventures this ruffled button down dress would be perfect for the occasion. It’s the perfect amount of structured, but the short hemline keeps it fun and playful. It almost reminds me of an updated risky business kind of vibe, which I love. The pastel blue color screams spring, and the ruffle adds an extra hint of fun. I’m finding myself gravitate towards anything with ruffles on it as of late, so definitely expect to see more of this dress throughout the next months while I can still wear long sleeves. I paired it with one of my most recent purchase obsessions- these thigh high denim boots. When I stumbled upon these online I’ll admit I was a little skeptical, like who the heck has denim boots?! But when I got them in and wore them out I got so many compliments and I think they’re such a fun addition to transition into spring. They’re definitely versatile, and I love how high they go up especially on my long legs since I’m 5’10. They’re also under $80 so it’s not as huge of an investment. The heel is pretty high if you’re used to low heels, but I wore this one full weekend and I managed! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
