LuckyFABB

So I’ve tried putting off my LuckyFABB posts as much as possible because I am so in love with the fabulous pictures that Rachel May took, that I don’t want them to disappear to the bottom of my archives! Alas, I can’t wait any longer so I’m sharing my day two outfit of LuckyFABB in Los Angeles, this past April.

The second night, after a day filled with speakers, mixing and meetings, it was a little chillier than I had prepared for. My pre-planned outfits had to quickly be reevaluated, but luckily I had packed a 3/4 sleeve dress from Anthropologie that would keep me stylish and somewhat warm for the evening. The style of this dress is my favorite, pleats down the front, a drop waist that almost resembles a romper, and of course a fun twirl factor creating a flirty vibe. I love this dress so much that I have it in two colors–I know, I know, that’s a little insane but can you blame me?! The cobalt blue and white print is spot-on with the cobalt blue trend for spring, and cobalt seems to be taking over my closet quickly. It has longer sleeves and length, but is lightweight so it’s versatile for chilly nights and hot days. This won’t be the last time you see me in this Anthropologie dress, trust me!

LuckyFABB is such an incredible experience in itself. You’re twenty feet away from amazing people like Eva Chen, Sophia Amaruso, Nicole Richie, Coco Rocha and so many more, but then you look to your left and right and you’re surrounded by many fashion and beauty bloggers in so many different stages of their lives. It’s honestly impossible not to get inspired by all of the powerful women surrounding you, and even building you up. You create so many friendships and connections, but you also learn about what youneed to do as an individual to create a better blog. I was shy at first (being 20 years old and in L.A. by yourself can be nerve racking), but once I started talking to people I learned more than I ever could have fathomed. I don’t think there is enough words to describe the weekend I had in L.A. in April, but if you ever get the chance to go then you definitely should take advantage of it!

Again, giant shout out to Rachel May for taking these incredible photos. She is such a sweet and genuine woman with an incredible talent, and again she will definitely be shooting my wedding someday!
