Fourth of July

Happy Independence Day y’all! 

I hope that you’re day is filled with lots of sun, fun and family or friends!

Unfortunately, it’s rumored to be a very rainy day here in the city, but that’s not going to stop us! I have my two best friends here so it’s already an adventure.

Let’s face it, it’s July, it’s hot, it’s humid, and we’re all in need of the perfect little dress that is lightweight and breezy.

I kid you not, I have found that perfect dress.

This Madewell dress is so lightweight that you won’t even realize it’s there. 

It’s so lightweight that I would highly recommend a slip to go underneath, but that doesn’t make it any hotter.

And how about that red, white and blue paisley print. Fourth of July festivities? Nailed it. 

It would make the perfect dress for a barbecue with sandals, or the cutest beach cover up.

The simplicity of a sundress with accented colors will never get old to me.

Double bonus? This dress is now on sale at Madewell! I’m currently dying for the same dress in blue/white tye-dye.

I added silver gladiators to dress it up, but a fun pair of cork wedges or espadrilles would completely change the look!
