Cold and Casual

Happy Thursday! As temperatures have drastically gone done, my sudden uniform seems to be a casual look of a simple sweater and jeans. With freezing temperatures it’s so hard to be stylish when you want to be warm, but I’ve found that little accents like a statement necklace, or textured sweater can make a world of a difference. Although this sweater is more lightweight than other ones I own, it has a polka dot texture that makes it stand out and is comfortable indoors when you’re stuck in a room that has the heat cranked up. I paired it with a white beanie that has been saving me this week. I’m not normally a beanie kind of girl, but after wearing this one all week I’ve realized not only how cute they can actually look, but how functional they are by keeping you extremely warm. I paired a crystal statement necklace and small arm stack with this casual look, and a pair of Tory Burch riding boots. I love switching things up every now and then and wearing something a little unexpected for me. What are you wearing if you’re experiencing this cold front? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
