Happy Thursday y’all! I’m too excited because once I get through my classes today I will be heading off to Dallas! Since next week is going to be so crazy for me, I spent all of my Wednesday stocking up on blog posts, finishing up my laundry (which I hadn’t done since I moved to Norman-yikes), and laying out some school things so I can start studying once I get home. The good thing is that after my crazy week, I plan on heading to Tulsa to visit my grandparents and get some much needed relax-time.

I always struggle with fall because personally, I hate high necklines. I mean seriously just hate them. For my body type they tend to make me look larger, in my opinion, and I always dread the cold because I know I have to wear things with higher necklines. When my mom stumbled on this dress in Topshop she immediately got it for me and I was so hesitant. The neckline is high and the waist is synched, so I had no clue how it would hit on me. Surprisingly when I put it on I fell in love. It makes me feel so sophisticated and elegant almost. It has a built in slip, which is always nice when a dress is white and I love how it allows you to wear white after Labor Day! This dress has so many different great elements like the texture of the fabric and mix of velvet in the trim. I am just in love! It also comes in petite! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
