Happy Monday y’all! It marks another weekend in the books after Dad’s day weekend here in Norman, and I have tons of tests and projects coming up over the next few weeks until we hit Thanksgiving break. However, I’m super excited to begin a week filled with lots of fall looks in collaboration with Dear John Denim! Denim is something I always struggle with when it comes to finding the absolute perfect pair. I’m taller, 5’10, and I definitely have some thighs. I also am a college student that can’t get the whole laundry thing right, which results in shrunken jeans and the constant battle of trying to get them zipped! You know what I’m talking about, where you flop on your bed like a fish until you can manage to wiggle into your favorite pair of skinnies. Finally, I’ve found my solution with these Dear John Denim jeans! They’re more of a legging and have a super great stretch to them that’s much needed around the holiday season. I love how comfortable they are and how they match with anything, the perfect staple piece. I can still wear my OTK boots over them, one of my key elements when it comes to searching for fall jeans!
Dear John Denim also offers great chambray tops like this one. I love a good chambray in the fall, it’s always easy to throw on and go out with a pair of colored jeans and a blanket scarf. What I love about this specific chambray top is the emerald color. It’s a perfect jewel tone for fall and winter, but could still work in the spring and summer seasons too. I paired it with my favorite Dear John Denim black jeans and a spike choker from Isharya. It adds the perfect bit of edge with this fall casual look.
