Happy Thursday y’all! I swear the last bit of this break just keeps flying by. We’ve had such dreary, cold weather lately and honestly I’m over it. I’d do anything to be back on the beach with bright blue water and a Dos Equis in my hand! But since that just isn’t in the cards for me I’ll be hiding out in my bed, in the dark, watching American Horror Story until the sun decides to come back out and grace us with its presence. By the way, anyone else watch AHS? I’ve finished four season in a week and I swear it’s giving me nightmares! Yet somehow I can’t seem to stop watching! Onto season five it is!

Today I’m sharing one of my all time favorite casual looks! In case you haven’t noticed, I’v been trying to incorporate a lot more looks that are simple and easy. Large, oversized sweaters, some simple jeans and tee kind of looks and different things to switch up from my usual different-dress-for-everyday style. Not to mention I’ve been wearing these casual looks a lot more lately! I’ve found that there’s nothing more I love than an oversized sweater. They’re comfy to lounge in, travel in or go to class in which was my main purpose for purchasing so many to begin with. I love pairing them with skinny jeans and boyfriend jeans, depending on what I’m planning to do. This side slit sweater is one of my all time favorites, that I own in many different colors! It’s neutral and cozy, and makes me want to warm up by the fire and have a mug of something warm! PS it’s on sale right now for ONLY $25! SUCH a steal! Since it’s so neutral I added a striped scarf with tassels on the end, giving a whimsical element and of course, who doesn’t love tassels?! I paired it with OTK boots for some extra warmth since temps are getting colder and colder, but it would also be perfect with neutral heeled booties. What do y’all think?
