Happy Tuesday y’all! I still can’t believe the weekend is already over and that we’re already in the middle of November!! This time next week I’ll be scurrying around trying to picture what Texas is like in November while I pack for a long weekend at home with my family. It’s going to be SO weird going back home for Thanksgiving. I haven’t gone this long without a weekend trip to Houston ever. I’m excited to maybe even get to possibly lay by the pool haha. Whats everyones plans for the holidays?

Today I’m edging it up a bit and stepping away from the typical girly vibes I have here on Kayleigh’s Kloset. One of my favorite parts about living in NYC is being able to test out different trends and not having to worry what anyone is thinking. I have to admit, this was always a difficult thing for me while I lived in a college town in Oklahoma, so I could barely wait to test out some crushed velvet and different silhouettes in the city. This camo jacket has been on repeat every since I got it. It’s lightweight, but a thicker lightweight so it’s great for layering over sweaters when it’s chillier. I love it paired with this wrap top and how it dresses it down for more casual vibes. These crushed velvet booties are beyond comfy, but they also add a surprise element instead of a pair of black or brown booties like I would normally wear. I love the blue shade so much that I may need to invest in a few brighter pairs. They’re under $75, so if you’re wanting to test out this trend without breaking the bank then I highly recommend them.
