Happy Thursday y’all and HAPPY to be back to kick off February! The past few weeks have been utterly absurd. I’ve been exhausted from working, exhausted from playing and ultimately stretching myself too thin and seriously neglecting my blog. I’m not one to complain on here, but I can’t stress how hard it is to balance life and a separate online realm all at once. I’ve learned in 2018 just how important planning ahead is and that’s something I hope to get better with in February. February is always such a fun month in New York. It’s my birthday month first and foremost, and fashion week usually falls during it. My mom and I may take an impromptu long weekend to Mexico and I can’t explain how exited I was when she brought it up! It’s been back and forth with the weather but the last few days have been COLD.

Anyways, end my rant and onto the important thing – this dress! I shared this dress on Instagram stories and everyone just ate it up. It’s the perfect transition to spring dress because it’s lightweight and a blush pink snakeskin print. It has button down detailing and a ruffled drop waist which I always love. Right now it’s good for work with tights and some layering action, but when I shot this it was one of those sunny Saturday’s where the weather was in the near 60s. I loved (and tore up) my black over the knee boots over the last year, so this year I got them in grey so that they can transition to spring as my outfits get lighter. These are my favorite pair of boots, but I forgot how much breaking in they require at first! Also can we talk about how long my hair has gotten?! I’ve been really trying to take care of it and some of the best ways has been using Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray to shorten the blow drying time, and Kenra Platinum Revive Treatment which is a 20 minute masque that makes your hair silky smooth. I can’t get over it from my long bob I had two years ago! What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
