Happy Wednesday y’all! Today I’m excited to share a long overdue room update! About a month or so ago, I decided that I wasn’t exactly happy with the symmetry of everything in my apartment. It was starting to look cluttered and like there was wasted space, so I went into a panic and nearly completely updated it. I was doing my makeup on the floor in front of my bigger mirrors, and as weird as this is going to sound it really hurts my knee to go up and down on the wood floor ha. I decided it was time for a vanity space in my room since I had one in my old apartment, but I really didn’t want it to be bi or clunky. I found this perfect little three drawer vanity at Walmart of all places and could pass up the cost! I now have an actual vanity chair that’s a storage chair that I got from Homegoods, but until it came in I just repurposed my poof.

I love my gold shelves to display my purses, but I didn’t like my egg chair being hidden in the nook of my room. I have a ton of seating in my living room but even adding that one seat made such a difference, so I switched out the egg chair for these gold shelves to add a hint of chic-ness to my room. It was so bare before and I originally wanted to get wall planters, but overall I’m happy with how it’s turned out! It really does take months to settle into a place. All in all, I’m happy with the way these little updates added a hint of glam to my room and took up some much needed space. It’s definitely easier to keep clean whenever you have something in the area that’s for sure! Linking all details in the widget below. What do y’all think? Have a great day and thanks for reading!
