Fall Work From Home Style

Happy Thursday y’all! I’m very excited to have a day off today to attend the rewardStyle virtual conference for the blog and learn a few ways to maximize this space in the upcoming months. This is the FIRST day in 2020 that I have taken off of work so it’s kind of a big deal for me. We get one 1/2 day every other week, so we do get time to do other things but I haven’t taken an actual vacation or personal day this year which makes a lot of sense when I think about how BADLY I need a vacation soon (lol).

With fall coming up as well as my return to New York, I’ve been thinking a lot about what my fall style will consist of and what is going to change this year. I’m remote through the remainder of the year so I’ve learned with sales like Nordstrom or Sephora that I don’t need the typical items I’d buy to go out, but moreso need items that I’ll be comfortable in for the next six months. I wanted to use today’s post to round up fall work from home style for those that also are going to be remote for the remainder of the year.

Just because we’re working from home, doesn’t mean we can’t ease into the season! There are so many cute and comfy clothes out there right now in neutral colors or deeper tones for fall. I think what’s key is to find a handful of pieces that work with multiple outfits, like a trusty cardigan, pair of leggings or biker shorts, or go-to camp tops/bras that you can just rotate throughout the season.

When it comes to working from home this fall or winter, think about layering more than you normally would. Hear me out, you’re in charge of the AC/heat and you’re not having to lug a giant coat to the office. You can choose to wear your comfy sports bra or bra top with a cardigan or sweater over it if you get chilly. The world is your oyster! I am LIVING for this! No more skinny jeans and turtle necks while trying to decide the temperature alongside 15+ other people. I’m going to be layering all of those cardigans in my closet that I never get to wear (because they stick out of my coat and look funny) with my tanks or comfy bodysuits and sweat shorts or biker shorts.

Let me know if there is anything specific you’re on the hunt for! I’ve linked what I’ve loved or have my eye on below in the widget. Have a great day y’all and thanks for reading!
