The Best Blushes for Summer

Happy Wednesday y’all! In case you haven’t been able to tell just yet, I’ve been OBSESSED with this whole blush trend going on. When it comes to my makeup routine, I typically just apply my tinted serum, blush, and bronzer or highlighter. Keeping up with the bare minimum summer look – or the no makeup, makeup look.

I’ve always worn a powder blush but over the last year or so I’ve been steering away from it entirely. When I came to Houston I NEEDED the Nars Liquid Blush and snagged it during the Sephora sale. Ever since then, I’ve been picking up different shades of blush from different brands I find on TikTok or in new beauty round ups and here are the ones that I think are definitely worth the spend. While I love a good blush pink shade that’s classic, I’ve been gravitating towards the more coral-y shades for summer.

1. Kaja Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush. My heart eye product as of lately! I can’t recommend this stamp blush enough. It’s affordable, super cute, and comes in so many shades. When you apply it’s foolproof just by stamping on the cheek bone. I have the shade Coy and Bossy but I use Coy everyday. The perfect neutral!

2. NARS Liquid Blush. The OG in the shade Orgasm, this blush is great. It blends so easily, and I typically use three dots on the apples of my cheeks and use any leftover product to the tip of my nose. It’s universal, lasts a long time, and is definitely worth it if you’re going to buy one blush!

3. Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Beauty Wand Highlighter. This is a more luxurious option that gives you that beach-kissed glow. I got the shade Pinkgasm to suffice for a blush and highlighter duo – a little goes a looong way! Perfect if you’re wanting to look like you’ve been on the lake all summer.

4. LORAC LUX Diamond Golden Hour Palette. A blush, bronzer and highlighter all in one – what else could you need?! I’m obsessed with how glowy and shimmery this palette leaves me looking. It’s great to swipe on without any makeup for that model-off-duty look.

5. Tarte Busy Gal Blush. Next on my list is a foolproof application stick from Tarte that I found when browsing QVC. It’s a gorgeous coral and seems so easy to incorporate into your routine, especially if you’re able to travel and do trips this summer. Just swipe on and blend!
